Our Club Our Future – ‘Buy a Brick’
Wodonga Diamonds have the best grounds and facilities in our local area. We are classed as a ‘premier’ facility by the Wodonga City Council however this comes at a much greater cost to our club than other clubs. It has only been the last couple of years that we have come to realize that this cost is more than what our club’s usual income is – so ‘Buy a Brick’ was introduced in 2011 as an ongoing fundrasier to help the club catch up.
How does this work? Individuals, families or businesses are asked to donate $50 and in return receive a plaque engraved with their words showing support for their club. Each plaque will then be placed on a brick for everyone to see. Donations received by members and supporters are going towards ensuring the survival of OUR club now and into the future.
