Silver & Bronze sponsors
Looking to put something back into your community and support a great grass roots club?
The Wodonga Diamonds Football Club is looking for sponsors for the 2013 season and beyond. We would greatly value your support and invite you to see how our sponsorship opportunities could also benefit you.
Wodonga Diamonds is an amateur regional football club respected for its family values, professional attitude and outstanding facilities. We are members of the Albury-Wodonga Football Association (AWFA) and affiliated with both Football NSW and Football Federation Victoria.
In 2012 Wodonga Diamonds fielded a team in every age division from 5–10 years in small-sided games, and under 11 through to our senior men and women’s teams and over 35’s, involving more than 270 boys, girls, men and women. Our member registrations in 2012 increased by 17 percent from 2011 with 80 percent junior players (Small sided to U16) and 20 percent seniors. Wodonga Diamonds has an excellent record of recruiting and retaining female players with almost 30 percent of players being girls & women. In 2012 our women's reserve team won league and cup champions.
Situated at La Trobe University in Wodonga, Wodonga Diamonds boasts the best grounds and facilities in the area. From February to September our grounds welcome hundreds of players and supporters from all over regional Victoria and NSW for training, competition and special events. In the off-season our facilities are available to other community groups for meetings, functions and events. La Trobe University’s Albury-Wodonga campus is a major regional campus overlooking the Wodonga Diamonds playing fields giving sponsors the added opportunity to market their business to all staff, students and visitors to the university.
The vision of Wodonga Diamonds is to be the club of choice for football participants in Albury-Wodonga and to provide a fun, competitive and social sporting atmosphere for all players and their families, members and supporters. As a not-for-profit 100 percent volunteer organisation, we depend on the dedication of club members and the generosity of local businesses to survive and grow, to fund out player and coach development programs, and to provide our players with uniforms, training equipment and safe and secure, well maintained grounds and facilities.
